Today we worked on further developing our idea for our opening scene, Mike went through the powerpoint with us giving us things we need to change and how we can further improve it.
He suggested to us that we should not do flashbacks as it over complicates the opening which should instead be simple but effective, we cannot do blood in a bath as this would stain any bath causing a huge inconvenience. These were both main focuses in our opening scene so taking these into consideration we have taken bits of our original idea and changed it into a title sequence instead of an opening scene, which would consist of a women who has been convicted of a murder and the police have arrested her, there would be clips hinting that she may be guilty but also which may contradict with this making the audience question if she is guilty. There would be forensic people looking at the children's byclicle with the wheel spinning, bicycle helmet broken in half, blood on handcuffs etc to show this. This idea obviously needs to be developed in further detail but that is our final decided starting point which we as a group have chosen.
