  • Titles give institutional and creative names involved in funding, making and producing the film, They also give key info and is often shown before the film, referred to as title sequenceThey can include 21 titles, 

  • with What they include links to genre and style. The 21 titles are:

They can be applied as part of the film with different font choices, colour and transitions. Which all help to reflect the tone and genre of the film.For example :
For the Legally blonde title sequence the use of neon curly writing suggests rom-com or drama genre and the neon pink suggests its going to be a 'girly' movie aimed at teenage girls. 
For inception the use of plain simple text creats the idea of order suggesting sci-fi genre and a dark/action tone.
